I really loved the time I was able to take off work (unemployment), finish college, and be with my kids for the summer. My hours just went to 11:30 to 8:00 and I hate it and am looking for another job. But it takes two working to make it in most situations. I will probably work til' I die.

I understand exactly where you are coming from, because I hated working, most of the time. During the 37+ years I worked I only had a couple jobs I really enjoyed, however, those years of working have been worth it. I have a nice retirement and I am so thankful. You are blessed to have a job without all the drama.

The Monkey is definitely a homebody. I could have wrote this one. Wish I had advice to offer here but for me, there is never enough time for all I want to do.

Best I've come up with is to put those things I can't do out of my mind and hope to catch up later.

definitely! don't we all wish we didn't have to work! but alas... reality kicks in... all we can do is as you say, enjoy each other in the time now, not later.
