Blarney and Malarkey

 Two Irishmen named Blarney and Malarkey
 went out to find some sweet lasses
Though they found ladies fair
both were full of hot air, so
the ladies proclaimed them jackasses

This was written for In Other Words where Patricia has asked us to
write a story or poem of 5 Lines or Less using the word blarney:
noun; flattering talk; deceptive nonsense;
talk that is not true but funny; talk used to trick you

    1. The only thing that came to mind for the prompt, Mimi. Blarney just cried out for a limerick of sorts. ;-)

  4. Hilarious! There have been a few Blarney and Malarkey guys in my life. They were worth some laughs and good times. They were what they were and nothing more. Thanks for sharing with In Other Words.

    1. Very true, such characters can be very entertaining as long as you aren't taken in by all their "charm"! ;-) This was a fun prompt to play with, thank you!!
