Thankful Thoughts - January 31, 2017

I am thankful for reaching the six-month mark since the office where I worked closed without experiencing financial disaster.  It hasn't been easy, but we are still managing to stay afloat, and we've learned to be much more careful with our budget and spending. Whatever future obstacles life brings, I will remember that God has always taken care of me thus far, and I believe He always will.

  1. Well Done! You behave as responsibly as you can with what you are given, and He takes care of the rest.

    1. I know that does not guarantee an easy ride, or that we will always be able to survive as we are now, but I am thankful for what we have been given this far.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. Thrilled that you like my daughters writing . I want to encourage her to do more, although time is an issue for her with work and children .

    1. It's been a really good learning experience, Maz, something we've needed to do and sometimes such things require a little push in the right direction.

Your daughter's writing is enjoyable reading, just like her mother's! <3

    2. Somehow it seems there is always enough. Maybe not as much as I want but enough. I have never been homeless or without food or without clothes. There has always been supportive and loving people in my life. Blessings are abundant!

    3. That has been my experience too, I've lived pretty close to the edge at times, but I have never gone truly hungry or cold or homeless. Blessed indeed.
