jabberings, jottings, and jumbled thoughts
I feel just like you, Josie. I love the warmth of my home. It's my comfy spot. Hope you got lots of reading and writing done. :)
It was a very restful day, I had time to catch up with everyone!
It's always nice to have a day off to putter.
It's quite lovely, I wish you could have more of them. <3
That's been me this week. I can't imagine how I would hauled myself off to a 9-5 job with the illness I've had this past week. I'm not even really sick per say, just like soo tired. Zero energy at all. So very thankful I could be home to get that rest.
I remember all too well how it was to go to work sick day after day, losing my voice trying to talk on the phone with a sore throat and a pounding head, and sometimes a fever, and of course it takes twice as long to get over it that way. Staying home is a blessing that I appreciate so much. I am glad you are recovering now too!
My home is my sanctuary. No matter what is happening with me or around me I feel safe and comforted when I am home.
That is true for me as well, Patricia, and my home with Papa Bear is the first time in my adult life that my home has felt this way. In the past home was more often some place I didn't want to be because things were volatile there.
I also am happiest at home alone
I love quiet time to myself at home where the only noise is cats purring and keyboard clicking and I can collect my thoughts!
Your comments are always appreciated... they make me smile! :-)
