A Year of Thankful Thoughts

It is my belief that, no matter how difficult life might be at the moment, there is always, always something to be thankful for.  To that end, I am going to change things up just a bit here.  I will continue to run "Thought or the Day" posts, but they will appear only on my Josie Two Shoes Facebook page, which you can find a link to on the sidebar and follow here

Each day this year I hope to do a short post here of something I am thankful for.  I will be keeping a file of them in the "Thankful Thoughts" tab above if you'd like to view the list as it grows throughout the year.

If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to begin a thankfulness list or journal of your own, on your blog or scribbled in a notebook.  Then when you find yourself feeling defeated, you can go back and remind yourself of all the ways your life is truly blessed.  I guarantee you will end up smiling.

  1. There's a gratitude list on a forum i belong to, and i try to post a gratitude on it every single day. You are right, it's good for us, and it keeps me looking for the silver linings.

    1. It's amazing how focusing on "what happened today that was good" can change your whole attitude, it's a great way to end the day in positive perspective and so very thankful for the many blessings we have. Once I get started I could easily list several each day and fill up pages and pages!!

    1. I need to get back in the thankfulness mindset, Lisa, and this seemed a good way to do it. 😊

    1. Wow, thanks for checking them out, Patricia! I wanted to do something more personal and meaningful each day, in addition to In Other Words, Six Sentence Stories and whatever else I am inspired to write. This is a great place to document a year of being thankful! I am not good about keeping handwritten gratitude lists or journals, the keyboard is so much easier! :-)
