The Grimalkin

Papa Bear had a cat live to twenty
Mama Puss had cattitude aplenty
She greeted him with delight
Occupied his lap all night
But stalked his wife like a militant sentry*

 ~*~*~*~*~*~
* She once accidentally caught Mama Puss's tail in a door and Mama Puss never
forgave her, never missing an opportunity to nip at her heels when she walked by.

  1. Amazing how some of them never forgive or forget, isn't it?

    1. Yes, they most definitely each have their own personality, and their favorite (and un-favorite) persons! :-)

    1. Thanks, Stella! Even some cats turn out to be "grumpy old women". :-)

    1. Thank you Ellen! :-) The kitty is from Pixabay, but Mama Puss was also an orange tabby.

  4. Love it! You captured a cattitude purrfectly. Cats will let you know what they think of you be it good or bad. Thanks for sharing with In Other Words.

    1. Thank you, Patricia! What makes me laugh is how often a cat will do their best to snuggle up to someone who really doesn't like cats at all, as if they are trying to win converts! This was another really fun word, thank you! :-)

    1. Thanks, Keith! This really is a legitimate cat thing, if they are displeased with you or something you've done, they will definitely let you know it! Mine will even turn their backs to me, peeking back now and then to make sure I realize I am being snubbed! LOL
