Indeed. Now that i'm back home, i am looking forward to catching up on your posts, although i may not have time to go back and comment on them all.
Don't worry about commenting, Mimi! I know how overwhelming it can be to play catch up with everyone's blogs. Just drop by when you are back up to speed, I'm always happy to have you visiting!
1 Corinthians 13 says faith, hope, and love is all you really need. If you have these three gifts from God, you have everything else. And, the greatest of these is love. I have literally clung to this scripture since I first read and understood it at age 14.
I absolutely agree with these. Love is the greatest force that is known to us. It begins with God's love that is given to us and we in turn pass it on. I think that honesty, respect and truth fall in line with these three. All are incredibly important to me.
A timely reminder in these difficult times.
I agree, Keith, people with true integrity can be a rare find.
I absolutely agree with you. Without those things, you have nothing.
That's the way I feel about it, Elsie. I really don't want to waste my time in relationships where these aren't the ground rules.
Yep - and I would definitely add Faith or Hope to that list as well. If you got all those, what else do you need?
Both should be there! They go hand in hand and we can't live without them!
Your comments are always appreciated... they make me smile! :-)
