  1. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I am glad you found Prince Charming- sorry you had to kiss the frogs though. I am also glad you found your keepsakes. I like paranormal things too. Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you, Ellen! I am glad I found him too, he was definitely worth a little frog-kissing! :-) It was a pleasure to go through that box of little things, some of which I'd totally forgotten! :-)

  2. Oh yeah, I remember a few frogs myself! I'm glad you found your keepsakes...I get crazy when I lose memorabilia. Some I have never found yet, but I hope it's in a box somewhere.

    1. If I'm being honest, I was the one who took a liking to bad boys and frogs, but when I set my heart and mind on someone better I was rewarded with Papa Bear! I tend to put things in "good" places, and then totally forget where that safekeeping spot was. That makes me crazy because I know it's around here somewhere! Hopefully you will one day happen across yours too! I always reason that I'm pretty sure I didn't throw it out, so it has to be hiding!

  3. Ooh we're crazy about all the paranormal shows! The Dead Files is our favorite, followed by My Haunted House :)

    1. The Dead Files is pretty cool. We like most of the, but our favorite is "The Haunting of..." with Kim Russo that is running an marathon of all new shows tomorrow on LMT starting at 11 AM EDT. I can't wait, I'll record them to watch with Papa Bear over the next few days! The only ones I will not watch is when the subject matter becomes demonic, that's a whole different thing and I want no part of it, I've had enough life experience with that!

  4. I'm so glad you found your keepsakes. Sometimes there are things you just can't replace.

    1. That's true, Yvonne! I am not much of a materialist, and I don't value many possessions, but it is the little mementos of life that have meaning and I hold dear. It was such a delight to find them!

  5. I am so glad that you found your box of treasures! It is very upsetting when our special keepsakes go missing.

    Have a blessed weekend!

    1. I was ok without them, but it felt especially nice to be reconnected with them again. Papa Bear has given me a wonderful little cedar chest to store them in now. It sits on the bottom shelf of the table by my bedside. :-)

  6. I hate it when things go missing. I remember back at McClendon Manor I would be looking for something and could not find it. I would say out loud, "I can't find my ...". I would leave the room and when I came back, the missing object would be out in the open, in plain sight, where I should have seen it before. Weird?

    1. That's pretty cool, David! Sounds like you had some spirit helpers! Many times when I've misplaced something I will wake up the morning knowing exactly where to look for it, as if the answer was given to me while I slept, or the dusty cobwebs were swept from my brain! :-)

  7. Good answers, Josie. I kissed a lot of real frogs (and many other critters) as a kid. I wonder if that is how I found my prince on the first try! *wink*

What paranormal shows do you like? I really am cautious with this realm. It sometimes opens doors that cannot be closed. However, it is interesting, I know! I like the firsthand, historical lore handed down by elders the best.

Thanks for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins. I tried to come up with One Question for you, and will have to think on it for future weeks. Hugs!

    1. I love your answer about kissing frogs, it made me smile! You just might be right too, because Bill is most certainly your prince!

Our most favorite paranormal show is "The Haunting Of". We watch others randomly depending on the subject matter. I love ghost stories and I believe in spirits and haunting. I do not however watch anything regarding demonic entities, that is VERY different and very dangerous to play with. It is NOT entertainment. I am certain there is at least one thing you'd like to ask me next week, it doesn't have to be a "deep thoughts" question, it can be something for fun too! :-)

  8. Yep -icky on those frogs that came first, but YAY for the Prince finally arriving! LOL
I have to check out all these new shows that are coming this year. I've grown a bit bored with some of the shows I have been watching for years. Plus my 2 favourite shows don't start until later in 2017. I hate waiting!!! Ugh.

    1. I appreciate the Prince far more for having experienced those "toads", Rory Bore! :-) I really am not a big TV watcher, I have lived without one before and could again, but Papa Bear relaxes with TV viewing and after a long day on his feet I think that's just fine. He is good about choosing shows we both like. I think it's true that some shows just run out of good stories after several years, they become less fun to watch. I am not good at waiting for ANYTHING, God continues to send me lessons on that! ;-)
