Here are my answers:

1. I am most proud of my children and who they've grown up to be.

2. I am embarrassed to admit that my furkids get by with more than my children ever did!

3.  My super-power might be the ability to keyboard for hours on end? :-) Seriously, I don't think I possess any powers great enough to call super. I wish I had the super-power to teleport myself to wherever I want to be.

4.  I really wish I could do more to alleviate the struggles that people I care about are experiencing.

  1. I think a teleporting super power would be super cool! It would come in very handy, too. If I had that, I wouldn't have to drive into Houston. Ever. :)

    Have a blessed weekend.

    1. I wouldn't want to drive there either, but going past it gets me to Galveston, so I like that part... as long as Papa Bear does the driving! :-)

  2. It is not odd that you let the furbabies get away with stuff the kids could not. It seems that the younger siblings always get away with so much more. My brother got away with everything. He never had chores, he never had to work. His wife was just as bad.

    1. I never thought about it that way, but it was most certainly true with my little sister as well! :-)

  3. Eliminating struggles, yes that's a good thing I'd like to be able to do, too; especially ours with DH needing a job. He's been out of work for a year and it's growing very tiring. I know God has a plan. I need to be more patient. Thanks for sharing your fill-ins today!

    1. As one who now finds herself out of work, my heart goes out to you. I can't imagine being patient for a whole year, knowing the worry and financial struggle that would entail. I will add you to my prayers that God will send him a good job really soon!

  4. It would be very nice to have enough resources to help people who keep getting pushed down just as they are struggling to get back up.

    1. I so agree with that, Mimi! It hurts when you know people who are trying so hard but never seem to get a break.

  5. Thank you for participating, great answers. That is cute that your furkids get away with more than your kids used to :) I like your #4, very sweet of you to think of others when you are going through a tough time too. XO

    1. I would have to admit that they are a pretty spoiled bunch of furkids, but it makes me laugh. I don't have to worry about them growing up to be responsible! ;-) I always think of others, and celebrate their good times, and pray for them in hard times. God will take care of me, I know that for sure.

  8. #1 is very sweet. When you do all you can to raise your kids right, it is a blessing to see them grow up and be the person you raised them to be.
    #2...eh...furkids are different...that, too, is a blessing!
#3, yes! I do think that may be your super power! *wink*
#4, I can relate to that. But, if you pray for them, that is doing all that you can. Just as others, like myself, pray for you, my dear friend. HUGS.
Thank you so much for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins. We couldn't do it without bloggers like you!
