    1. This is my philosophy of life, Shortybear! I do not understand people that want to deny their age. Each age has it's own gifts and blessings, there is no turning back the clock so we might as well embrace it!

  2. I have no problem with age. I own it. It is mine; it is me.

    1. That's exactly how I feel, Annie! I wish I had more energy, but I am content being who I am now.

  3. I would be younger if my parents had more self control but they didn't so I am the age I am. Just gotta accept it and be happy. 😺

    1. LOL, this made me smile! Then again, you might never had been at all, and that would be such a loss for the rest of us! You are right about acceptance, life flows so much better if we learn to go with it!

  4. I find I am happier as I get older and realize trivial things don't matter.

    1. That's absolutely true for me too, Ellen. Don't sweat the small stuff, or even the big stuff that we can't do much about. I am much more content with life now than I was when I was younger.

  5. Things do seem to get easier to handle with aplomb the older you get.

    1. They sure do, Mimi, we don't take every tiny issue so seriously because we've come to realize that things will get worked out somehow and new issues will always arise, that's just life. One day at a time with Jesus, that's how I do it now!
