jabberings, jottings, and jumbled thoughts
Right now, it feels like my job does.
I would have to agree with that, Mimi! I think most of us who work are "slaves to the job" and there is so much more I would like to be doing with my time, but I suspect God has me here for a reason, so I try to make peace with it as best I can. I don't know how you juggle all the jobs you do!!
My cats own me, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
That is pretty much true here as well, Ellen, and I don't think that's a bad thing at all, though I am a bit envious of their position and power over me at times! :-)
Hmm...not sure I agree with this one. I have had many detached people in my life who owned nothing in regard to their own actions and decisions. they put any blame or responsibility on others, freeing themselves and burdening others. They owned only themselves.
This is another angle to look at ownership. There is ownership of possessions, and their is ownership of your actions. The second one is something you must do if you are to be true to yourself and others. We can let things own us, jobs or relationships own us, money own us, or we can let our bad choices own us. None of that is a good thing either.
Your comments are always appreciated... they make me smile! :-)
