Faith In Action Is Love

Thought for the day:

Faith requires action... do you put you practice what you preach?

    1. Really that's all we can do, is try our best, and I know you do!

    1. Same for me Gail, it is the heart and desire that matters most, the rest will follow.

  3. Mother Teresa also said, “One filled with joy preaches without preaching.”

    1. She always spoke with so much wisdom and light, Annie! Yes, and it is that kind of "preaching" that shines light into the hearts and souls of others, not the endless words of those who preach a lot but live it only marginally.

  4. I try to practice what I preach. I am all about cats so I help to get them spayed and neutered and try to donate to rescue groups.

    1. I love a calling that involves caring for God's creatures, I know that He smiles on your efforts. Helping to prevent more unwanted cats is an act of kindness because their feral lives are so hard and often cruel. I love the work of rescue groups and individuals! You do great work promoting these issues too!

  5. Absolutely!!! And my golden rule is to LOVE. It's the only way through all our differences and misunderstandings. Love covers over so much.

    1. I believe that love is the greatest power on earth, Rory Bore, and it begins with God's love for us. It's our job to pass it in, and it can indeed resolve differences and misunderstandings! I don't understand people who spend their lives promoting hatred. How tragic!

    1. I suspect that you judge yourself harshly and actually show more love to the people and critters around you than you realize! It does take practice, and I've come a long way over the years too, I used to be a really angry person, and it's hard to love when you are angry!
