  2. Lovely post Josie. Hope and Faith is all we have and if we let go of it, we are nothing.

  3. Hope springs eternal. It is something we always have. No one can take it away. Only we, ourselves, can do that.

  5. Good advice. :)

Our family motto is, "Dum spiro, spero"...While I breathe, I hope.

    Have a blessed weekend!

  7. It reminds me of a quote that goes something like, "When the world says give up, hope whispers one more time." Hope says all things are possible.

  8. Yes, so this!! People are so impatient these days. Wanting everything right away. People keep asking me how I can afford all these home renos we are doing. Um duh -- I've lived in this house 11 years and did nothing for 10 of those years!! It's called SAVINGS!!!
But I know someone who just changed all the flooring in her house, and then stood back and realized it didn't match the wall paint, so she changed that. and then it didn't match the furniture, so she ordered new furniture to the tune of about 5 grand. All told, over $10,000 to her credit card. I said, that's not "free" money you know, right? Because now she sees the minimum monthly amount due is about $400 and is all "uh oh - whoops! I can't afford that." I mean if you can afford it, great! Have your dreams realized. But good lord, be smart about it.

    1. Amen, Rory! I think saving up for something you want is becoming a lost concept, and the credit card companies are raking it all in.

    2. So true! They don't care if you amass tons of debt - they actually raise your limit! But these people miss out that amazing feeling of when you finally do achieve a dream. When the thing you have been patiently hoping and/or working towards finally comes true. It's amazing.

  9. Where would we be without hope? Wait. I remember that place. I lived there. It was hell. Living in hope is heavenly.
