Vultures Closing In

I was eating a piece of pecan pie in my recliner tonight.  Vultures quickly gathered, apparently thinking it was just too good to miss out on.  Who would have thought pecan pie would interest them all that much?  Papa Bear snapped the photo as they tried to telepathically transport my plate closer.  Tiggy (the golden girl in the left rear) tried an alternative plan, standing on her back legs on the floor and reaching up to grab the paper plate with her paw.  I had to hang on tight to maintain property rights!  They each got a tiny taste though, and pronounced it delicious! :-)  Note how big Toby at the left front has grown since I got him as a kitten last January!

  5. I live with two dogs - every crumb that passes my lips is stared at intently. Usually there is drool falling on my feet too.

  6. Could only be more realistic with a pecan pie hypnotized poodle in the mix!

  9. I had that same sort of scene last night with my dinner plate. Cats are so strange sometimes. You have some gorgeous kitties.

  10. Cats are so much smarter than dogs. Cats will swipe a paw strategically and endear themselves enough to get a taste. Dogs just lunge for the plate and get yelled at.
