Smiles to Go!

This week Papa Bear brought home a package that came in the mail... a box from my friend Brenda over at BYG Adventures.  I'd been eagerly waiting for it to arrive!  You see, Brenda has some hidden talents in addition to being an awesome writer.  She makes these adorable crocheted wreaths, and I'd ordered the one you see above for my office door for Halloween.  I couldn't have been more delighted when it arrived, the picture doesn't do it justice!  I requested candy corn colors with a bit of black thrown in, and I love how it turned out!  The little witch, ghost and pumpkin  add the perfect touch.  I think it's impossible not to look at this wreath and smile, and that's why I want to share it with our clients at the office... folks who so need a bit of cheerfulness in their lives!

Here's more photos of some of the awesome wreaths Brenda has created.  I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite... I love them all! :-)

Brenda and her daughter Michelle are planning to open an Etsy store to sell their crafty creations, but if you'd like to order one in the meantime you can contact her at brendagladden@yahoo.com   The price is very reasonable, and she accepts Paypal.  They would make great gifts too!  Handcrafted gifts are original, fun to give and fun to receive.  I'm already thinking about how cute a pink or blue one would be for a baby shower gift.

I can't wait to put my Halloween wreath up at work.  Thank you Brenda, for the smiles! :-)

  1. Smiles, smiles, smiles.... that is such an awesome way to view these!
I also am envisioning baby wreaths - even can put little letters for baby's name....
The creativity is boundless and anything anyone wants I can do!
    Thanks Josie! Enjoy Halloween

    1. That's how I feel about them, Brenda! Every time you post a photo of a new one on Facebook it makes me smile, they are just so clever and cute, and something I haven't seen done before. I also love that you send them across the ocean to your daughter, I know how it makes her smile when those boxes arrive!

  6. Brenda is so amazing and wonderful and just loaded with talent - I'm quite often in awe of her. She's really someone special. and these are absolutely fantastic and adorable and if they didn't put a smile on someone's face; you need to have a long good talk with your soul.
