New Shoes

I was getting the itch for a new pair of blog shoes, and as I searched Google Images I found these wonderful glow-in-the-dark shoes at Laughing Kids Learn - a delightful blog full of amazing creative projects for children.  Many of them looked like they would be a lot of fun for not so young people too! :-)  I emailed Kate with a request to use the photo of her awesome shoes for my new logo button and she very kindly granted me permission.  I love the new JTS logo - simple, light and dark, and a little weird... just like me! :-)  You can grab my new button below or on my side bar, and when you have a bit of free time, go check out Laughing Kids Learn  and find something fun to do with your children or grandchildren... maybe even make your own pair of glow-in-the-dark shoes! :-)

    1. It is indeed, Mimi! I'm gearing up for the A-Z and thought a new logo would be a fun way to start!

  2. Very fun!!! How do you make a button, by the way?

    1. As with all the things I choose for my life Carrie, these make me smile! :-) There are many good tutorials on the Web to help you make a button for your blog. I am by no means a pro at it, I have a "practice blog" that I use to test things until I get them right! Start with a square photo and adjust it's size to 150 pixels x 150 pixels. (Some say 125 x 125 but to me that is a little small.) Save it on Photobucket or whatever online photo program you prefer. Then follow the tutorial to create an HTML widget on your blog sidebar, that will look similar to mine. :-)

    1. Thanks Patricia, I thought they were pretty cool. In fact I think it would be fun to own a pair of glow-in-the-dark sandals, and I might just have to try that out on a pair of old ones! :-)
