30 Days of Thankful - Day 3

I am thankful for our cozy little house out in the weed patch of West Texas. It isn't big, fancy, or shiny new, but it's ours and it's paid for, and most importantly, it is the only house I've ever lived in that truly feels like home - love abides here, along with peace, grace, and joy!

    1. Yes indeed, Gail, it's not about the house, it's about the love that grows there! I am truly blessed beyond my ability to comprehend! :-)

  3. Home is where the love enfolds you. That's better than a showy place any day.

    1. That does give us a stronger sense of security in this uncertain world, Terri, though for us retirement is still a dream that remains hazy. Maybe in the future, or at least semi-retired.

  5. Being paid for is sooo good, Josie. Lots of variables, being frugal helps a lot. So far we've held out my 12 and Mrs Jim's 14 for retirement.
