30 Days of Thankful - Day 13

I am thankful for soft flannel sheets!  I grew up with flannel sheets on the bed during those long South Dakota winters, and nothing feels warmer and nicer on cold winter nights! A few years ago my son gave us a set of really good flannel sheets, the kind that never pill-up when they are washed. They are so soft and cuddly that I really hate to get out of bed in the mornings, and I'm sad when Spring comes and it's time to exchange them for cotton sheets.  It's funny how things that make us smile are often tied up with childhood memories.

  2. Even though i don't live anywhere that gets truly cold, i need to get some of these sheets! Temperatures right at freezing cause me pain, and these sound delightful.

  5. I love flannel sheets. I must be weird as I use them year round. So snuggy and warm and makes me feel cozy even in the Spring and Summer. It is funny how little things bring back childhood memories. Blessings Beth
