Wait And See

Monarch caterpillar by ~agiaco
You laugh at me in my striped clown suit, moving sluggishly along on my journey, munching my way through green leaves and growing fat.  You have no idea of what is in store for me or what my potential might be.  One day I will reveal my true self to you in brilliant form, floating in the breeze and dancing 'round your head in colors of majesty and light.  Mock me now, it matters not to me; one day you shall envy me, wait and see!

I'm linking up with Megg at  Sunday Scribblings

    1. I think living in the USA, the concept of monarch as royalty is more foreign to us, so the first thing that pops into mind is that beautiful butterfly with windows like stained glass! Thank you for stopping by!
