Stumbling over a teddy bear in the hallway, Hans' frustration hit the boiling point. "Damn it, Goldie", he blustered, "I understand that you're still trying to work through that childhood incident with the bears, but you've gone off the deep end. The whole damn house is overrun with bears, bears all over the furniture and piled against the walls; even the closets are full of bears! Enough is enough, either they go or I do!"
Goldilocks cocked her gun, remembering the time when fear caused her to run away from bears. She wasn't going to abandon them again, not ever!

I'm linking up with Velvet Verbosity at Week #318 of the 100 Word Challenge
where the prompt this week is "enough"

Wow ... you surely made me revisit childhood !!!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about how some of those storybook childhood experiences might have resulted in a few "issues" when the main character grew up, Green Speck... that's where this came from! :-)
DeleteI guess 'happy ending' is a matter of perspective!
ReplyDeleteLOL Betty, I think you're right, apparently Goldie preferred her bears! :-)
