  2. This cat person LOVES the photos. I really miss having a kitty, but living on a four-lane road makes an animal's life extremely short and I'm not ready to have my heart broken again.

    1. I knew you'd like these Tee! You really need a new furbaby. You could get an older rescue kitty and keep it safely inside. It would be so grateful for your love! I don't think I could live without one anymore, they give us so much to laugh at and talk about! :-)

    1. Thank you Kristy! Two are rescue kittys and the two smaller ones are from a rescue mommy. All are spayed/neutered now, and they all get along great! They are a very spoiled bunch. :-)

    1. It seems like many bloggers are also cat people, Susie, I take that as a sign that writers and thinkers also admire the independent yet affectionate nature of cats!

  5. Great pictures! :) I'm impressed at how well you named them - and, how you (apparently) captured their personalities with these photos. There is no better name for Chloe than Chloe! :)

    1. Thank you Lady in Red! I was hoping that the photos I chose reflected a bit of their natures. My daughter named Stormy, John and I named the next three together, and a friend of mine named Gracie. I do think the names fit them well. They have middles names as well, lol. :-)

  6. Sophie is a serious looker! Wow! Of course they're all good-looking. Is there any such thing as an ugly cat?! But Sophie is especially lovely!

    1. Sophie is the sweetest of all our cats, Elisabeth. She is a rescue kitty that we got from the Humane Society. I fell in love with her very beautiful Maine Coon features, and those expressive "owl eyes"! When we went to pick her up, her fur was scruffy and she was settled into a small basket in the large cage full of cats. She still loves to sleep in small confined spaces, I think she feels much safer that way. Her personality is totally angelic and affectionate... UNTIL you try to clean her ears or trim her nails... then she becomes a Tazmanian Devil that must be bound in a towel and still requires all my strength to hold her secure while John doctors her. She pouts for awhile after, but soon forgives us. She will let the other cats push her around and steal her food, etc for awhile, and then one day when she's had enough she rears up and goes on the attack fiercely, and they learn to keep their distance. We love her immensely! She's a bit round in the middle, with short little legs, looking much like a very fluffy beach ball! :-)
