Feed Me... Now!

Annie has inspired me to join The True Book Addict for Cat Thursday this week.  Here's what Stormy, the patriach of our fur family, has to say...

"Our dishes are empty and she is totally ignoring our plight."

"Look Lady, we're starving... haven't you been
staring at that computer screen long enough?"

"Now, I said NOW!  Get up and feed us NOW!!"

  1. I was at Pet Smart and a cat saw me and stood up and stretched toward me...the others ignored me...this one...*sniff* we had a connection...I opened the cage...I reached in...JOE showed up and said "We will, one day, but not now."

    "When?" I asked hopefully.

    "When Beau goes to heaven."

Joe's body is in the cat aisle at Pet Smart.

    2. Too funny Lotta Joy! I was having a crazy afternoon at work, very stressful. I took a quick break to check my email and found this delightful comment... you made me laugh for sure! You tell great tales! :-)

    3. THIS comment came BEFORE my post. I was just telling about my day at YOUR blog, then thought "why not put it on MY blog"?

  2. Yay! Josie, glad you finally joined in! I love this "meme". It is just so much fun! And getting to know the other cats...& their owners...is also great fun!! Celebrating our furkids is worthwhile; life is so much better with them in it. Stormy looks like my Bob, my 1st Maine Coon, whom I still miss...22 years later. ~Hugs~

    1. This is fun, I'll be looking thru my huge collection of furkid pics for something fun each week, by Thursday we can all use some good reasons to smile! Stormy is part Maine Coon. His brother looked more traditional, and was much larger, Stormy has always been more refined, but he has defintely stepped up to the role of Head Honcho with his harem of girls here, nevermind the fact the poor guy is neutered! :-) I wish he could live forever, or at least as long as I do! :-(

  3. I have 2 cats and they haven't eaten for days! Perhaps that's a glimpse of just how broke I am! But they get to eat today, just as soon as the wife gets home...Man they are going to chow down!

    1. Kitty feast at your house tonite, Workingdan! I'm betting you've been finding them something to chow on. A hungry cat is an unhappy cat, and usually a loud cat! My grocery cart tends to be 75% cat supplies, 25% people supplies, but I point out to my beloved spouse that there are FIVE of them and only TWO of us! :-))

  4. Hahaha Love it. Stormy sure does look vexed.

Blogger is being a bit of a git again. Your posts, 'Of life and death' and 'Teach them well' didn't show up in my dashboard...

    1. Stormy has always been very clear about his feelings, Lily, and very vocal! The last shot was actually caught in the middle of a lou "meow"! He and I exchange those while he's waiting for me to get their supper dished up... it can go on for five minutes or until Papa Bear commands us both to STOP! hehe :-))

Blogger is being ornery in lots of ways lately. Often I can't get to Friend Connect to add or delete blogs to my reading list. I wish I knew why some posts never show up on people's readers. I do them all the same!

  5. Now there is a cat who knows what he wants ... has that "Alpha" attitude. Very cute and clever. Welcome to the fun ...

    1. He definitely sings for his supper, Andrea as if I could miss the intent of those eyes. I think he believes he can communicate with me telepathically! LOL He speaks for all of them, him and the four girls. He says "feed us", and I do! After all, he is the king of beasts here, for all of his remaining days! I like this meme, am looking forward to next week already! :-)

    1. He actually is far more handsome than these photos show, Selma. He is a fanatic about keeping his long coat of fur shiney clean, unlike one of our other cats who willingly lets the other cats bathe her because they take pity on her greasy/grimy condition. How lazy is that?! :-) Stormy definitely lets his desires be known. If we ignore him he gets up on his hind feet and begs like a dog, it gets me every time, and he knows it! We laughed the first time he ever did it when he was small and he figured out it was worth keeping in his bag of tricks for future use. I've never seen another cat beg. Wish we could capture it on video!

    1. Thank you Kate! Stormy makes sure you pay attention, especially if he feels you're ignoring his requests (demands)! He will meow LOUDLY and REPEATEDLY about six inches from my face... rather hard to ignore, and it always makes me laugh! He is a truly beautiful cat, and so very proper!
