No Question About It

I'm going to take a break from One Question Wednesday for a couple weeks, I have a lot going on and not a lot of time for blogging at the moment.  I'll be back with a new post sometime today or tonight.  I think y'all (as we say in Texas) know by now that you are ALWAYS free to leave me questions in my comments.  Nothing I like better than to ramble on about myself.... and I'm so very exciting.... yawn! :-)

    1. Just busy stuff McGuffy, tired and a bit frayed around the edges trying to keep everything done, never enough time for blogging and play. But it cycles and I end up back on top my game in no time. I did get your email and I loved it. Will respond as soon as time permits, but that may not be 'til the weekend. Hugs back at ya!

  2. PS...ever consider adding a "follow by email" option? I'd love it! I'd bet others would too!

    1. I'd be glad to add that on, McGuffy Ann! I used to have it, didn't know anyone used it. I keep on top of who has posted something new thru following people on my Blogger Dashboard and in Google Reader, though you don't get all the pics, etc. there, so I just use it as a link to the acutal blog post. I like to see how they look on the blog!

    2. One thing you will discover though, is that I post what I write, and only then begin to re-read and revise it to clean it up a bit. Sometimes the post looks and reads a little different an hour or a day later. If I try to proof things just as I write them, I don't really catch the glitches and clumsy wording.

    1. I know you do Boxer, your life keeps you running at a hectic pace too. As much as we sometimes wish it didn't, life ALWAYS trumps blogging... but then we can blog about it later, so it's still win-win! :-)

    2. I used to pressure myself to crank out a blog post daily or to participate in a host of weekly writing prompts and meme's. I've learned that I don't need that extra stress in my life and I enjoy blogging much, much more if I just take it as it comes and as the spirit moves me. I love being here, blogging and reading, though I can't always do all of that each evening. Unfortunately there's that sleep thing that I never seem to get enough of!

  4. I can completely understand the need to catch up on things. As the days are getting longer, i'm finding that i'm having a harder time trying to keep up on the reading and commenting.

Along those lines, as i get busier and have to deal more with real life stuff, i'm finding my mind isn't as free to wander into blog idea territory. This is all pretty new to me and i worry a bit if i don't push something out on a regular basis, people will stop showing up. Some of my last posts have suffered because of this.

Take all the time you need but i enjoyed the questions and it certainly made it easier to come up with a mid week post. Especially this busy time of year. :)

    1. I'm glad you were enjoying One Question Wednesday, Ken, I do too! I'm thinking of posting a weekly question that anyone/everyone who wants to can respond to, including myself, in addition to any others people want to throw at me. You are so right that when we get busy with the daily life stuff our minds don't get the chance to relax and ponder. I run at full-speed all day at work so often by night time I am truly brain dead. Sometimes that shows in my posts. :-)
