"Forty Questions Everyone Is Afraid To Ask"

My friend Sid often posts links from the blog  Marc and Angel Hack Life on her Facebook page.  One article called Forty Questions Everyone Is Afraid to Ask caught my attention, and if you'll take a moment to check it out, I think you'll find it interesting too. There are many thought-provoking questions listed that would make for great blog topics.  I'll probably be picking up a few of them myself and I welcome you to do the same.  There is nothing I love more than a good thought-provoking question! :-)

Update:  I just discovered that there 775 more of of these questions on their sister site Thought Questions and a bunch of other excellent articles on their blog Marc and Angel Hack Life. Check it out when you have some time, much food for thought here!

  1. Great questions, though not as scary as I expected.

I may take a stab at some of them, or even my own list of 40 things people are afraid to ask!

Seriously though, I like they way the people posing the questions thinks. It's all about doing what's good for you. So many people never take the time to ask themselves the important questions, or, if they do, don't pay attention to the answers they know are right.

    1. I agree Monkey, being introspective seems to be a lost art at times. I may spend too much time contemplating, but I think that's preferable to bouncing thru life without a clue of what you are doing or why. Questioning is the first step to hopefully taking action or making significant changes in your life that will help you be more of who and what you want to be. This list is a really good starting place, though I agree that the title may be a bit misleading. I encourage you to make a list of questions, that could prove VERY interesting! Maybe it could be for Q :-)

  4. The questions are well done with photos and fonts, but as Bozo said, after about 20 I felt a little like "er, my big question to myself today was wondering if I should go to the mall?"

Still, it's not a bad to remember we're all here for different reasons and it's important to see ourselves as more powerful than perhaps we do at times. Nice post. :-)

    1. I agree with you and Bozo, Boxer, there is a lot to take in all at once, and I'm not sure it's useful that way. It will work better in bite-size portions that I can go back and work on from time to time. Lots of good thoughts there though. It is important that we realize we have the power to effect change in our lives and in our worlds. Feeling powerless and helpless is the worst feeling there is, and it's so deceiving.

I laughed about deciding to go to the mall, my burning question was whether to read blogs or go clean the bathrooms. At this point, I'm about half way thru both! :-)

    1. I've always been the introspective type Kristy, but I am great at avoiding the questions that make me a bit uncomfortable... and should! I can see that this list will help me to re-examine some of those places in my life I'd like to work a little harder on, and other areas where I think I'm actually doing ok! I encourage baby steps when it comes to making changes, if you bite off too much it is easy to give up in defeat. Changing one little thing can lead to more, and it makes us feel good when we accomplish something we set our minds to!
